Explore! The Wild, Wild West Come one and come all to celebrate our Western Heritage at the Wild West Cowboy Round-Up! Garland's Second Annual Cowboy Round-up will be taking place on Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Down Town Garland, Texas. Chuckwagons will be serving up authentic cowboy grub from dutch ovens for those with "wild" appetites! The "cookies" will be serving up hearty meats, beans, and potatoes all day long. And if chuckwagon just isn't your style, the authentically restored Stagecoach is the perfect alternative. Wild music and entertainment will be offered all day on the Historic Downtown Square in Garland. The day's entertainment includes historic reenactments of our pioneer past and other offerings indoors at the nearby Plaza Theater. Special western performances, western singers, western swingers and cowboy poets, will make this a day to remember! ** Vendor Booths Available Don't Forget Those Little Buckaroos! Children's activities include pony cart rides and hay mazes that will keep your kiddos entertained for hours. On top of that, there will be face painting, stick horse rodeos, and horseshoe tosses for our little cowboys and cowgirls!
